Ms. Vijayta Jagnani Counselling psychologist · Noida

Hello, I'm Vijayta.

Ms. Vijayta Jagnani · counselling psychologist · Haal Chaal Clinic, Sector 31, Noida

If something has been sitting heavily on you lately, this page answers the questions people tell me they almost didn't ask.

What brings people here?

Do I need a serious enough reason to come to counselling?
No. Most people arrive carrying ordinary things they have carried alone for a little too long:
  • Worry that won't switch off, even when things look fine from the outside.
  • A low stretch that has outlasted whatever started it.
  • A relationship that keeps snagging — a partner, a parent, a friend, work.
  • A change you didn't choose: a loss, a move, a job ending, a health scare.
  • Sleep, focus, patience — running lower than you'd like.
And some people arrive not knowing what it is yet, only that something feels off. That counts too.

You don't need a crisis to deserve an hour of someone's full attention.

How a first session feels

What actually happens in a first session?
We talk — that's most of it. You say what made you reach out, in your own words and your own order. I listen properly, ask a few questions, and we go at your pace. Nothing gets decided in that first hour except one thing: whether this feels like a room you could keep talking in.
Do I need the right words ready?
No. “I don't really know where to start” is a perfectly good opening line. We start there, and the rest usually follows.
Will what I say stay private?
Yes. What you say in the room stays in the room. There are a small number of serious legal exceptions, and I'll explain those plainly in the first session — so nothing surprises you later.
What if I book and then feel unsure?
That's allowed too. Telling me you're not ready yet is still a conversation we can have — no pressure, and no awkward follow-ups.
The first session is a door held open. You decide whether — and when — to walk through.

Practicalities

Where do sessions happen?
In person at Haal Chaal Clinic, Sector 31, Noida. If getting there is the difficult part, mention it when you write and we'll figure it out together.
What does a session cost?
A consultation is around ₹2,500, as listed on Practo — confirm when booking. Listings can fall behind, so the exact fee is settled before the first session, never after.
How do I start?
One message is enough. Say hello below — your name and a line about what's going on, and I'll come back to you with times.

A little about me

photography before going live

I'm a counselling psychologist with about three years of practice, seeing people at Haal Chaal Clinic in Sector 31, Noida.

My work is conversation first — listening properly before suggesting anything. It isn't hurried, and it isn't a lecture. It's two people, one room, going at your pace.

This page was put together from public professional listings (Practo) — it will be reviewed with Ms. Jagnani before it goes live.

Say hello

Two lines are plenty: your name, and what's bringing you here. Sending this opens WhatsApp with your message already written — I'll reply with times.
